Travels of Lorraine Edwards with her 2004 T@B Teardrop trailer. Go back to October 2009 and follow her adventures from North Carolina to North Carolina via the New England states, Canada, Mid-Western states and Florida (over 9,000 miles, 21 states and 3 Provinces). Since late-May 2011 the tiny T@B has been stationary but was (for 15 months) full-time "home" for the owner.

ReplyDeleteIt can be hotter in the spring and summer in other places in the North. How many are still at WyCliffe? Do they get many volunteers in Spring and Summer.
You may want to check on Portable AC units. No installation, they plug in and a small vent would go out side, though a small window or vent. Then just seal around it. The range from about $300 to $500. You can buy online or at Sam's or Sears. You will be very pleased if you get one. Enjoy the opportunities to swim in the pool. The water is so refreshing.
Love and Blessings
Check my blog tomorrow for details re: RVs. I took a walk this morning--and took pictures. I published (for tomorrow) quite a bit of information. Briefly, 40 RVs are gone. There are RVs that sit here all year so several are unoccupied (only $1. per day for storage). There are at least two right now that are unoccupied because the owners are overseas on a mission trip. "No," they don't get volunteers in the late Spring and Summer!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI won't buy an air conditioner. I have one that came with the T@B. It even has a carpeted, fitted, frame for the window. It is in the PODS storage. I'll just "tough it out" for 41 days. I'll work long hours in the air conditioned main building. So far, it isn't too hot to sleep comfortably. The scripture says to "occupy" until He comes so I think I am supposed to sit here. I'm seeking God's will about whether I go, or stay, but haven't had a bold indication that I'm supposed to leave.
Hang in there, our friend. Look for ways to stay coooool until the Good Lord comes.
