Yes, 2010 is now recent history. Please consider the fact that "time" will run out on May 21st, 2011. ~~ The Holy Bible has revealed to many Bible scholars that May 21, 2011 will be Judgement Day. God will call the believers home to forever be with Him. (1 Thessalonians 4:17) Are you ready?? Please check FamilyRadio.com or eBibleFellowship.com for specific information.

Lorraine, I do find this an interesting topic...but I disagree with your phrasing. You say the Bible revealed this information...I see it as one man's interpretations of the Bible. Harold Camping has indeed devoted many hours of his life to studying those words...but we know he was wrong in 1994, when he thought Judgement Day would come then. And yes, he did give himself an out, and said, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it'll be 2011. Maybe the man is right. Although the Bible also clearly says no man can know, time will tell. The Bible does also mention false prophets. Whether he is right or wrong, anyone following Mr. Camping is doing just that, aren't they? Following one man's interpretation of the Bible? I also think that just because he has a radio station, instead of a church building, doesn't mean he's not the same as "a church," or any other "organized religion." It seems to me, that is exactly what he has done. He has followers, just like any other pastor. And that's what we all do. We choose the pastor or church we like best. I don't for a second expect to change your mind, and I'm not trying to. But you invited sharing our thoughts, as you share your's with us. So personally, I hope Mr. Camping is wrong about being able to identify a certain date. I worry about what you will do on May 22, if he is. I do imagine we can all agree, it's important to be ready to meet God at any time. I have a dear friend in Illinois that thinks I'm going to Hell simply because I'm Catholic. She really has herself convinced Catholics are no good. I'm ok with that. She follows a church that believes that, but she loves me anyway, and I her. She is the one I asked to stand with me when I married. So please, don't feel I make these comments in hate. I make them with love. Deb
ReplyDelete"Thank you" for sharing. I know the teaching is controversial; I know that many people disagree with Mr. Camping--and with me. I won't debate the subject. I offer the information and pray that people will study and seek God's answer for their life.
