Valentine's Day
A "sweetheart" of a day: Valentine's Day. If you read my blog titled Three Quarters and Counting, you will see that I am head-over-heels-in-love with my yard. Almost all my time and energy is spent there. However, occasionally, I (for no known reason) check old blog sites, and old email accounts. Today I'm checking... and want the reader to know that I am doing very well--for someone looking at her 80th birthday. ~~ Belated best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!!

Little George Havens' Cowboy Camp Meeting
Perhaps you would enjoy reading about my most recent trip from Livingston, Texas (East Texas) to Central Texas. I visited the Little George Havens' Cowboy Camp Meeting between Santa Anna and Coleman, Texas. I would love to document the experience at this location but haven't the patience (or time) to struggle with it. (So many problems in the past, I am reluctant to try anything [here] beyond one or two paragraphs.)
My activities are documented at Three Quarters And Counting. Check it out?! ~~ Recently, I had the dubious pleasure of cleaning a severe mold problem--in the T@B--which prompted an entire series of messages.

Mildly depressed !!
The T@B Teardrop Rally is in full swing at Raccoon Holler along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. I made my reservation last year and had every intention of attending. Plans changed; I moved from North Carolina BUT still planned to attend. Every penny of saving went into the purchase of the 2003 Carriage 5th-wheel trailer followed by (unplanned expense of) major roof repair. It breaks my heart to miss the camaraderie of friends with T@B trailers. But I am reminiscing--and seeing with my mind's eye--the people and activities because this rally is back at the 2012 location. Details are documented--in pictures--on this link, and this link, and this link. FYI: You might like to read about After the Rally. (Yes, that's your's truly at the 2012 T@B Blue Ridge Rally. ) ~~ You and I can follow this year's activities on the hostess' blog titled Postcards from the Road.

Rainy day greetings !!
When it rains, my activities are limited. I'm overdue with an update on this site because I focus my energy on Three Quarters And Counting. Over there, you'll find all the news worth printing (LOL). In October 2013, my tiny T@B teardrop trailer made a thousand mile trip from Waxhaw, North Carolina, to Livingston, Texas. The T@B sits in a nearby field; I am comfortably settled (permanently) in a Carriage Cameo 5th-wheel trailer at the Escapees CARE Center. ~~ I'd like to think that I have a few more T@B travels in my future.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving
I rarely revisit this blog. I have another blog where I post my current thoughts and activities. Please visit Three Quarters And Counting. I have a volunteer job at JAARS near Waxhaw, North Carolina (south of Charlotte). I have a nice apartment at the JAARS Center. I am obsessive-compulsive about my backyard garden. Come visit!! I'm sincere: Visit my blog and/or come visit me at this unique location. If you have an RV, we have a nice RV Park (and usually always a vacant site). ~~ I'm thankful for all my blessings!! I want to wish you, and yours, a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Checking in because I haven't dropped out !!
Lest you think I have dropped off the face of the earth, I am still an active member of society. I encourage you to check my blog ThreeQuartersAndCounting. Leave a comment, with your e-mail address, and I'll write back. (This blog [Google's Blogspot] is still a major frustration to me!! I can't even edit my old messages!!)
