T@BBer's Prayer

Sue Luke reading The T@BBer's Prayer

Heavenly Father, look down on us, your humble obedient T@BBers who travel this earth pulling our bedrooms behind us and giving endless tours of our T@BS.

We beseech you, Lord, to see that our T@Bs are not attacked by gawkers, our tires have 44 pounds of air, and our tongue weight is not more than 195 pounds.

Protect us from leaky wheel wells, LP detectors that beep in the night, jockey wheels that fall down, and refrigerators that run our batteries dead.

Give us this day, Divine guidance in the selection of our camping sites that we may not have to level our T@Bs on blocks, run our water hoses across roadways and that the electric will be at the right voltage.

We pray that the Internet service at the campgrounds works and that they have cable TV hookups. But, most of all, we pray that the bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water.

Lead us, dear Lord, to good rallies where the T@BBers are friendly, the fires are warm, the rain holds off, and the Lambursco flows freely.

Give us the wisdom to know that T@BBing is a gift from God. Let us know that it is our responsibility to share this wonderful experience with everyone that we can. Let us appreciate the camaraderie and laughter from the life-extending gifts that they are.

Grant us the strength to show our modifications to every new T@B owner with all the enthusiasm we can muster for the fifty-plus time. Make us mentors to the new T@BBers and guide them to the joyous place that T@BBing is.

Now this part of the following prayer is for husbands: Dear God, keep our wives from wanting us to do every modification they see on other T@Bs to our T@B. Lead them not into temptation, for they know not what they do.

Now this part of the prayer is for our wives: Almighty Father, keep our husbands from wanting every gadget for our T@B. Help them to see the wisdom in keeping it simple. Above all, do not forgive them their trespass, for they know exactly what they buy.

Now for all: When our T@BBing is over and we return to our loved ones, grant us the wisdom not to rub in all the fun we have had and keep us from telling all the stories of our adventures to our children who will think we have gone off the deep-end and returned to our childhood. Help our families to understand that we have not lost it but found it: A great way to enjoy ourselves with other wonderful people who own T@Bs so that our lives will not have been in vain. This we ask in the name of T@BBers all over the world.

Amen
