Six Month Anniversary !!

It's difficult to believe that I've been on-the-road for six months!! It seems like "only yesterday" that I pulled away from the apartment complex in Shelby, North Carolina. (Did I ever mention that the reason I left was because the owner repeatedly rented the adjacent apartment to a smoker? The woman that moved in--in December--reeked of smoke and I would become nauseous just being close to her. I could smell the smoke through the common wall between our apartments.)

Let me recap some of the vivid experiences of the last six months:
* Parked in the orchard of friends, at their home on Moss Lake, NC. Thanks Deborah & Wayne!!
* Parked by a pond, in a wooded area, at the home of friends in Marion, NC. Thanks Linda & Doug!!
* T@B Rally in Marion, North Carolina, at the end of April, first of May.
* T@B caravan along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Skyline Drive, to Gettysburg, PA.
* Visiting Gettysburg, and Boyds Bears.
* Visiting Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York.
* Sunset on Lake Erie, New York.
* Memorial Day weekend at Sodus Point, NY.
* Taughannock Falls in New York state.
* Parked in yard of a friend, near Bainbridge, NY. Thanks Nancy!!

* Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
* Teardrop trailer Rally in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
* Burlington, Vermont, with Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms, cruise on Lake Champlain and (of course) Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory. Especially meaningful: Visiting the Trapp Family Lodge at Stowe, VT, and meeting Johannas von Trapp.
* T@B Rally on Cape Cod, Massachusetts; visit to Nantucket Island.
* Parked in the yard of a friend in Exeter, New Hampshire. Thanks Debbie!!
* A day at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine.
* Visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine.
* A weekend at Campobello Island, New Brunswick (off the coast of Maine).
* Several days at the home of friends at Waterside, New Brunswick. Awesome beauty!! Thanks Debbie & Ken!!
* Long, long drive across New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario Canada.
* Parked in the yard of a friend/cousin in Wakarusa, Indiana. Thanks Doris!!
* Escapee's RV Club Escapade in Goshen, Indiana.
* Parked in the yard of friends/cousins in Clayton, Ohio. Thanks Janice & Ron!!
* Parked in the yard of friends/cousins in Springfield, Ohio. Thanks Lela & Marvin!!
