Acadia National Park, Maine

Acadia National Park runs a fleet of buses around the island, and Park. I spent over four hours riding the "free" transportation. I saw a film at the Visitor's Center prior to departure. From the bus, I didn't see the spectacular sites; you have to walk or bike to the most notable scenery. The traffic was positively horrible!! I do not want to drive in that bumper-to-bumper endless stream of vehicles.

I'm back in Ellsworth' McDonald's (19 miles from the Visitor's Center). It's raining!! Depending on the weather, I may not return to Acadia tomorrow. I came a great distance to see this National Park but no possibility of finding a campsite.
